Step two: before the gel touches the tooth

Once the tooth surface has been prepared with OBIOACTIVE, your dentist applies OBIOGINGIVAL along the gum line. Only then does the OBIOWHITE ULTRA whitening gel go on, and OBIOWHITE LAMP shines on the teeth.

At the end of the session, the barrier is removed. How the whole whitening session works →

For patients

A protective layer on your gums from the start of whitening to the end

Before the whitening gel goes on, your dentist applies a layer of OBIOGINGIVAL along the gum line and between the teeth. It stays in place during the treatment and is removed at the end.

OBIOWHITE whitening is free of pain and sensitivity. The barrier on the gums is one of the things that make that possible, together with the preparation step, a lamp that, according to the manufacturer, gives off no heat, and your dentist’s supervision.

The barrier does not replace the check-up: your gum health is checked at the suitability check, and anything that needs treatment is treated before whitening.

When is the barrier removed?

At the end of the session. It goes on before the whitening gel, stays in place throughout, and is removed when your dentist finishes.
